"The only thing that stops football is lightening," said Bobby Carswell, president of the Milpitas Knights youth football. And
indeed, the players and cheerleaders braved Saturday's rain to win three of four championships.

Here's the wrap-up:

Junior Pee Wees Silver (undefeated)
Score: 37-6
Touchdowns: Running back Tariq Bracey scored five, and fullback Alex Erazo completed one.
Defense: Running back/middle linebacker Faivin Popallii-Pomele and Tyree Bracey.

Pee Wees White (undefeated)
